There is a tiny strip of wood on which hands can be leaned and a naïve yellow colour is a reference to the folk spontaneity in the colour selection.

The fact that the ash was coloured yellow adds life to the unfinished interior of the church and makes it more bright and lit up by the sunlight which is always present here.

We wanted to follow Caravaggio

and, at least, touch the impetuousness
